Day in My Life: Instyler Hair Event
Yesterday I was invited to attend the Instyler "Beat the Heat" US Product launch party in Santa Monica. I took my friend Maddy with me and the minute we walked the door of The Now salon, drinks were put in our hands and we were lead to the massage room. I immediately new this was my kind of event. We then were treated to hair styling using the newest straightener and flat iron. Now, I chopped my hair a few days ago and when I got it cut the stylist used a flat iron. Being that I have always had straight hair, I thought I never really needed to straighten it, but I loved how it looked after he did. The only problem is that I have heard horror stories about how damaged your hair can get from them. Lucky for us, the new heat products are coated with a woven layer that acts as a heat protectant that is built into the stylers, (plus they are white and rose gold so they are super aesthetically pleasing... haha) At the end of our day of pampering, they gifted us the tools! Now I can attempt to create beach waves on my own. woo!
